Pelican Kayak (Lavika) Universal Kayak Splash Guard ( Medium)

I'm glad to have this splashguard and am learning to use it. When installed, it does protect from splashes and from drips from the paddle, though I need to learn how to install it so the water runs off rather than pooling at the near edge where I have to unzip and then fling the water off left and right: no instructions come with it, as it's pretty obvious how it is to go on, but how to tweak and tighten, I'll have to experiment with. It seems to be solidly made of good fabric, the rear elastic band is adjustable. It would be easy for two people to install, pulling on each end, but I have learned to sit on the front panel wrapped around the front edge and lean over to stretch the back band around the back. It stays in place. It deflects water. The price was right for something that effectively shrinks the cockpit by half (while leaving it very easy to exit). I'm recommending it to fellow kayakers with long cockpits.
